Tatkal is a community platform that connects people through AI-assisted matching of needs and offerings. It is operated by Tatkal Platform and is intended for lawful personal and commercial networking within India.
You must be at least 18 years old to use Tatkal. By signing up you confirm that you are of legal age and that your use of the platform complies with all applicable laws of the Republic of India, including but not limited to the Information Technology Act 2000 and its rules, the Consumer Protection Act 2019, and any sector-specific regulations relevant to your activity.
You agree to use Tatkal only for lawful, genuine purposes. The following are prohibited:
You retain ownership of the content (text, images, audio) you post. By posting you grant Tatkal Platform a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, and moderate that content for the purpose of operating the service. We do not sell your content to third parties.
Free-tier posts are automatically removed after 3 days. PRO-tier posts are retained indefinitely until you delete them or your subscription lapses. Tatkal reserves the right to remove any content that violates these terms at any time without prior notice.
Match suggestions, spam detection, and search results are generated by AI and may not always be accurate. They are provided for convenience only and do not constitute professional, financial, or legal advice. Always exercise your own judgement before acting on a match.
Paid subscriptions, where offered, are processed through our payment processor and governed by their terms and applicable Indian payment regulations. Refunds are handled per our published Refund Policy. Tatkal Platform does not store card or UPI credentials.
We collect only the data necessary to operate the service (phone number or email for authentication, profile details you choose to provide, and usage analytics). Data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure within its globally distributed network. We do not sell personal data. For full details see our Privacy Policy.
To keep the platform safe and secure, the content you submit — including your posts, messages, images, audio, and the tags and details attached to them — is processed internally for moderation, safety and security, abuse and fraud prevention, enforcement of these terms, and to operate and improve core features such as matching, search, and reliability. Some of this processing is automated (AI). This internal processing is essential to running Tatkal, and by using the app you consent to it. We do not sell this content or use it for third-party advertising.
Tatkal Platform complies with applicable Indian laws and regulations. Where required by lawful order from a competent authority — including courts, police, the Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), SEBI, RBI, or any other statutory body — we will cooperate fully, including disclosing user information and content as legally mandated. Users should not use the platform for any activity that would require us to do so.
Posts related to the following are strictly prohibited and will be removed immediately: arms and ammunition, narcotics, human trafficking, child exploitation material, gambling without a valid licence, and pyramid or Ponzi schemes.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently delete accounts that violate these terms, engage in abuse, or receive sustained community reports. Repeated violations may be reported to law enforcement.
Tatkal is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Tatkal Platform is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including losses from transactions arranged through matches on the app.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. The version label at the top of this page identifies when these terms were last revised.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Tamil Nadu, India. We encourage users to first contact us directly to resolve any issue before initiating legal proceedings.
