You can permanently delete your Tatkal account and the personal data associated with it at any time. There are two ways to do this.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (instant)
- Open the Tatkal app and sign in.
- Go to Profile (tap your avatar, then open your profile).
- Scroll to the Danger Zone and tap Delete account.
- Confirm twice. Your account and data are then permanently erased.
Option 2 — Request deletion by email
If you can't access the app, email us from the address linked to your account (or include your registered mobile number) and we will delete your account for you:
We verify ownership of the account before deleting it, and complete verified requests within 30 days.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
- Your profile — name, photo, date of birth, gender, address, interests.
- Your posts and all attached images and voice notes.
- Your matches, match feedback, and AI search records tied to you.
- Your notifications and push-notification tokens.
- Your sign-in account (Firebase Authentication record).
What we may keep
For legal, accounting, fraud-prevention and safety reasons, we may retain a limited set of records after deletion:
- Payment/transaction records (if you ever made a purchase), as required by law.
- Safety records — e.g. if your account was blocked for abuse, a blocked-identifier record may be retained to prevent re-registration.
- Messages in two-party chats you took part in are not removed from the other participant's copy of the conversation; your identifying profile is removed.
These are kept only as long as necessary for those purposes.
